01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Over glowing charcoal braziers, Keisho in Nukui, Nerima Ward, presents a tempting array of meats that makes choosing an easy challenge. A standout among them is the Tokusen Harami Hasamiyaki, a special skirt steak carefully stuffed with sliced scallions and fragrant shiso leaf. The rich, beefy juices of the harami contrast with the bright aromatic greens, making each bite an effortless match for either drinks or a bowl of rice. Thick slices of salted beef tongue, less common cuts like sliced Wagyu tail, and rich abura horumon packed with melting sweetness show off the distinct appeal of each cut on the grill.

Dependable Menus for Lunch and Dinner

During the day, the restaurant serves affordably priced lunch sets built around kalbi, loin, or an assorted offal mix. Each set includes rice, wakame seaweed soup, salad, namul, kimchi, and an iced coffee to finish, with an option to upsize the meat portion for a heartier meal. Diners will also find a solid range of noodles and rice dishes, including robust kalbi ramen with its gentle heat and savory broth, spicy yukgaejang udon, and sizzling stone-pot bibimbap, catering equally well to a quick solo meal or a filling midday feast.

Korean Comfort Dishes in a Welcoming Room

Between rounds of grilling, the menu offers comforting Korean home-style dishes such as stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), crisp pajeon pancakes, and slow-simmered beef sinew. Drinks include makgeolli served by the kettle, alongside beer and wine to keep the conversation flowing over the grill. The dining room also features tatami seating, creating a relaxed, homelike setting suited to families and groups lingering over the coals.
